As one of the biggest brands in cycling you can be sure to expect plenty from Shimano at this year’s iceBike*. The show kicks off next week at Arena:MK for three days and below is a brief recap on what Shimano is bringing this year.
If you don’t know much about the Shimano Service Centre programme then you need to visit iceBike* this year. Shimano reps will be on hand to talk about what it takes to become a Shimano Service Centre and how you as retailers can join the largest bicycle service network in Europe. You can also find out about the range of benefits retailers can expect from joining. Hang around on Wednesday evening too for the official launch of the Shimano Technical Service Centre and a Japanese sake ceremony!
E-Bikes are everywhere. Head to the show to see the latest Shimano STEPS technology including the new E7000 and E6100 groupsets. The massive Shimano truck is making its way over to Milton Keynes again and with it will be plenty of demo E-Bikes for visitors to try out on the test track. Speak to the product experts and maybe even get a sneak peak at what they are working on for the future.
There is plenty from PRO at iceBike* this year. With the rise of off-road and gravel riding, the new Discover Gravel Bags and Handlebars will be in display for visitors to see alongside the new long travel Koryak Dropper posts.
Head to the Shimano stand to see the latest ranges of clothing, eyewear, footwear and bags. The complete SS19 and AW19 clothing ranges will be on show for visitors to see and speak to experts about. It is a great opportunity to see the new high-end S-Phyre shoes and clothing too.
Finally, you will find the usual top-of-the-range components such as Dura-Ace and XTR on the Shimano stand. Shimano product experts will be on hand to speak to about what went into creating some of the best equipment in cycling, so be sure to bend their ear at the show.
